The President of Glasgow City University in the UK visits our university and holds a signing ceremony

Before the signing ceremony, President Toshio Iseki, Executive Vice President Masashi Maita (Research, International Affairs, and Academic Information), Dean Nobuaki Kubo of the Faculty of Marine Technology, and Vice Dean Etsuro Shimizu of the Graduate School of Marine Science and Technology welcomed the delegation and held a meeting.8Referring to the previous meeting held in February, he stated that he hopes to further build a cooperative relationship based on this comprehensive partnership agreement.
After the signing ceremony, President Little and his delegation toured the ship operation performance test tank and internal combustion engine laboratory at the Etchujima Campus. They then met with Vice Dean Shimizu, Professor Masari Furuya of the Department of Maritime Systems Engineering, and Professor Kota Oshima of the Department of Marine Electronics and Mechanical Engineering to discuss specific future collaboration details. President Little expressed his hopes for future collaboration between the two universities, saying that combining Glasgow City University's simulation technology with Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology's ships will lead to the promotion of education and research at both universities.
Our university will continue to cooperate with Glasgow City University in the maritime field.
