 The Department of Marine Environmental Science provides education in the knowledge and skills necessary to elucidate the dynamics of the ocean, which is essential for building a sustainable society for humankind, and to solve various issues related to environmental conservation and utilization. We aim to develop highly specialized professionals. The marine environment and ecosystem are closely related to the elements of physics, chemistry, biology, and geology. It consists of two departments: ``Marine Science,'' which educates and researches connections, and ``Marine Biology,'' which educates and researches the interactions between diverse marine organisms and the environment. We also place emphasis on education in basic subjects.

 This faculty position is for a person with a background in physics who is passionate about teaching and researching various marine environment measurement methods, and who can contribute to the development of marine environment measurement science through the development of new measurement methods.

The subjects you will be responsible for in your relevant educational and research field will be selected from the following subject examples according to your aptitude.

[Undergraduate] Basic subjects according to the applicant's field of expertise (data science, statistics, physics experiments, etc.), Environmental Dynamics I & II, Marine Information Analysis I & II, Introduction to Earth Sciences II, Freshman Seminar, Oceanography Practical Training I & II, Marine Science Experiments, seminars, graduation thesis/graduation research, etc.
