In the Department of Marine Resources and Energy, we conduct education and research related to science and technology that contributes to harmonizing marine development and environmental conservation, leading research in marine science and technology, and fostering human resources with advanced specialized skills and originality. We are seeking a highly motivated individual who is actively involved in education and research in the field of marine geosciences based on marine surveys and observations. In particular, we welcome individuals with expertise in subsurface structure, geology, and tectonics who can contribute to the assessment and prediction of submarine geohazards such as earthquakes, tsunamis, and submarine landslides.
